Nita Bakke
Associate Clinical Director
Nita serves as Associate Clinical Director at Youth Health Associates (YHA), where she plays a critical leadership role in supporting the organization’s clinical programming, clinician development, and the continued advancement of high-quality therapeutic services provided across all YHA programs. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Nita brings extensive clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to ensuring youth receive evidence-based care designed to create lasting positive outcomes.
Nita earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work through St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and has built a strong professional background working in forensic psychotherapy. Throughout her career, she has developed specialized expertise working with complex youth populations while focusing on treatment approaches centered around accountability, behavioral change, long-term rehabilitation, and successful reintegration.
She holds advanced certifications and training in several specialized clinical disciplines, including Certified Trainer in Core Correctional Practices, Certified Trainer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders, and Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Sexual Offense. In addition, Nita serves as an Approved Clinical Provider for the Utah Department of Corrections, Adult Probation and Parole, and the Sex Offender Task Force, reflecting the high level of clinical trust and professional expertise she brings to the organization.
In her role at YHA, Nita works closely alongside the Clinical Director to provide leadership, oversight, and ongoing support to clinicians across all programs. She plays an essential role in strengthening the organization’s clinical infrastructure through clinician training, onboarding and development of newly hired therapists,and continued implementation and refinement of YHA’s clinical programming model.
Nita is deeply committed to maintaining excellence, consistency, and integrity throughout YHA’s clinical services while ensuring both clinicians and youth receive the support necessary to achieve long-term success. Her leadership continues to play an important role in strengthening the quality of care that defines Youth Health Associates and the lasting impact the organization creates for youth and families.
