John Garlock has a passion for helping improve the lives of youth. He has been working in the field since 1995, and holds a bachelors degree in Human Services.

His employment at YHA began in 2009 where he worked as a line staff, lead staff, and eventually a facility supervisor in both the YHA Stepping Stones, and YHA Draper facilities.

He joined the YHA administration team in 2014. As the YHA admissions director, he works with referral sources including case workers and government agencies around the United States to coordinate the placement of youth into YHA.
