Chris Thomas

Quality Assurance Supervisor

Chris Thomas is the Quality Assurance Supervisor at Youth Health Associates, bringing more than a decade of leadership experience spanning behavioral health, youth services, operations management, compliance, staff development, and organizational quality improvement.

Throughout his career, Chris has built a reputation for strengthening teams, improving operational performance, and creating systems that promote accountability, consistency, and positive outcomes. His professional background includes leadership roles within residential treatment, juvenile justice, behavioral health, and corporate operations, giving him a unique perspective on balancing quality standards with the day-to-day realities of direct service environments.

Prior to joining Youth Health Associates, Chris served in multiple leadership positions with The Picklr, one of the nation’s fastest-growing pickleball organizations. There, he managed a flagship facility serving more than 500 members, supervised large teams of employees and ambassadors, oversaw programming and operations, cultivated community partnerships, and contributed to organizational growth initiatives. He also traveled nationally to support new club openings, train leadership teams, and establish operational best practices.

Chris’s foundation in youth and behavioral health began years earlier through leadership roles with Youth Health Associates, residential treatment centers, rehabilitation programs, and juvenile detention facilities. Across these settings, he developed extensive expertise in risk management, medication administration, crisis intervention, de-escalation, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and client-centered care. His experience working directly with youth, families, frontline staff, and leadership teams continues to shape his approach to quality assurance today.

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, Chris is passionate about building cultures of excellence where compliance is not simply a requirement but a tool for delivering better outcomes. He believes that strong systems, clear expectations, continuous improvement, and empowered staff are the foundation of effective behavioral healthcare organizations. His leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, accountability, and helping teams reach their highest potential while ensuring the individuals they serve receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Chris studied Acting and Directing along with Communications at Weber State University and he also holds current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

Outside of his professional work, Chris remains actively involved in community theatre, film production, photography, pickleball, and leadership development. He enjoys creating meaningful experiences that bring people together and is committed to making a positive impact both within his organization and throughout the communities he serves.
